When your door Threshold needs repairing, it would probably be easier to do just that; than having to replace the entire thing.
This was a great example on this handyman project, the Door Threshold was still in good condition; that we decided to keep it.
What I needed to do was use longer concrete screws, to penetrate deep into the floor cement; and for this I needed a power drill to go very deep.
Most situations you will find a loose Door Threshold, because of the screws coming off and not due to a broken Door Threshold; you may want to replace it with a new one too though if you choose since you will be removing it completely before repairs.
